I believe German longhairs are great all around gun dogs that are not as big of runners as most English pointers are. which with their thorough casts and great noses I believe they will serve foot hunters well, they train quickly and are bird crazy and have intense instincts. Longhairs can pretty much take care of it all from upland to waterfowl, they are also used in Germany for blood trailing big game. The pups are now 5 months old and we are starting their training for dove and duck season.  prices will go up as i put more hours into them. I have two females and three males available at $400 each. Also I am considering selling the parents of this litter and an additional breeding age female. I would like to concentrate on my English Pointers since they seem work better for my personal needs and style in the sparse New Mexico desert. Will trade with cash or buy outright big running and big name Pointers.
